About Carolina Storm
Carolina Storm is a professional esports organization that signs top gamers from North Carolina Esports Academy’s youth teams. Being headquartered in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area of North Carolina, our community focused org consists of competitive teams for various games.
Caleb Smith
Team Manager
Caleb Smith is the team manager for Carolina Storm organizing the players competitions. Having years of experience in both competing and coaching in the traditional sports world, Caleb saw the importance of youth development and character building. Due to his love for video games, he wanted to offer in video gaming what was offered in traditional sports. Caleb had a mission to be a trailblazer in the industry and revolutionize esports though youth development and esports education. He truly believes in helping others and that he can grow and develop life skills in young people while destigmatizing gaming. Caleb always wanted to manage a competitive esports org and is now fulfilling that through Carolina Storm.
Josh & Charlie | Fortnite
Our academy team for Fortnite competes in the FNCS and the Amateur Esports Association. They had an impressive run in the fall of 2024 and spring of 2025 placing first place in the regular season and second place in the playoffs both seasons. They also placed 2nd in the 2025 Amateur Esports Association Nationals tournament and earned college scholarship.
