What We Learn: The Weekly Schedule

Every day at camp features 3 hours of dedicated STEM education built around project-based learning, critical thinking, and hands-on creativity.

We believe the best way to teach scientific inquiry and technological design is to meet kids where they already love to play. Instead of dry lectures, we use the industry’s leading educational tools to turn screen time into building time:

* Minecraft & Microsoft Code: We leverage Minecraft Java Edition as a digital science lab. Using “Redstone” (virtual electrical circuitry) and Microsoft Code platforms, students learn foundational logic while automating farming systems and building renewable energy cycles.

* Roblox Studio: Campers step into the shoes of real game developers. They will design custom 3D worlds, manipulate physics, and get introduced to the fundamentals of software engineering.

* Scratch: Perfect for our younger or beginner coders, this MIT-developed platform uses visual block coding to teach logic, storytelling, and game design without the frustration of typing complex syntax.

* CodeCombat: We turn learning real-world text-based coding (like Python or JavaScript) into an epic RPG game. Campers write code to guide their heroes through challenges, making advanced programming incredibly fun and rewarding.

Beyond the computer, our camps prioritize:

* Collaboration: Working in teams, pitching project ideas, and giving constructive peer feedback.

* Healthy Balance: Digital creation is always paired with 75 minutes of outdoor recess in the Waverly Courtyard (weather permitting) for fresh air, socialization, and physical activity.

What Your Child Needs (Camp Checklist)
Camp Check-In Details

To ensure your child has the best day possible, please make sure they have the following:

* Minecraft Java Account: Campers need a Java Edition account to participate. Don’t have one? You can rent an academy account for just $3/day.

* Lunch & Snacks: Parents must provide a packed lunch and snacks each day, OR take advantage of our local lunch program below.

Skip the lunchbox prep! You can opt to have food delivered, or your child can choose to get lunch from one of our fantastic Waverly neighbors each day:

* Monday: Chick-fil-A

* Tuesday: Shake Shack (Plus afternoon Two Roosters Ice Cream option!)

* Wednesday: MOD Pizza (Plus afternoon Two Roosters Ice Cream option!)

* Thursday: Shake Shack (Plus afternoon Two Roosters Ice Cream option!)

* Friday: Chick-fil-A (Plus afternoon Two Roosters Ice Cream option!)
